Center for Appellate Litigation

The Center for Appellate Litigation is a New York not-for-profit law firm which handles appeals and post-conviction proceedings on behalf of criminal defendants, in cases assigned to us by the Appellate Division, First Department. We pride ourselves on our highly experienced lawyers and our commitment to high quality defense.   We recently began a Parole Advocacy/Prisoner Reentry Project designed to help our clients who have upcoming parole hearings by preparing them for reentry into society. We are examining issues relating to our client's housing, employment, mental and physical health needs and helping them prepare to address these issues once they leave the prison walls.
