Legal Aid Society of Mid-New York, Inc. is a not-for-profit corporation which gives free civil legal information, advice and representation to residents of Broome, Cayuga, Chenango, Cortland, Delaware, Herkimer, Jefferson, Lewis, Madison, Oneida, Onondaga, Oswego, and Otsego.

Our Agricultural Worker Project is statewide, and handles the following issues for farmworkers: worker's rights (farmworkers, discrimination and harassment, unions, immigrants working in the U.S., wages and hours, workplace safety, other rights and protections); housing (eviction, repairs, tenant rights, other rights and protections); money and taxes (taxes); immigration (working in the U.S., visas, victims of human trafficking or other crimes, money and tax issues for immigrants); public benefits (Medicaid).

Our Homeownership Protection Program (HOPP) serves the following counties: 
Binghamton Office - Broome, Chenango, Delaware, Otsego
Utica Office -  Herkimer, Madison, Oneida
Watertown Office - Jefferson, Lewis

Our Immigration Project serves all 13 counties. We provide assistance with: Battered Spouse Waiver, Citizenship, domestic violence, TPS, victims of human trafficking/other crimes, U-visas.
