Who We Are
From our headquarters in Harlem, we provide direct services to over 7,000 individuals each year. All of our services are free and available to all nationalities, regardless of immigration status. Our HIV Legal Services Program provides civil legal assistance to low-income, HIV-positive individuals, their families, and caretakers of children whose parents have died of AIDS. We offer counseling, advice, and legal representation in the following areas of practice: Housing, Public Benefits, Health Care and Patients' Rights, Family Law, and Advanced Directives. Immigration representation with priority give to gender based asylum, VAWA, and trafficking.
