Chenango County Area Agency on Aging

The following is a listing of services that our agency provides directly to seniors: Outreach, Health & Recreation, Lifeline, Nutrition, Senior Centers, Home Energy Assistance Program, Weatherization, Home Repairs, Legal Assistance, Housekeeper/Chore Worker Services, Long Term Care Ombudsman, and other services.   Outreach workers provide information, assistance and referrals on health, housing, finances, and other matters. Outreach workers are available at the agency and senior centers on assigned days. Legal service is available to Chenango County residents who are 60 years of age and over. Priority is given to individuals experiencing problems with Social Security, SSI, Medicare, Medicaid, financial management, or adult protective services.
