Who We Are
Legal Assistance of Western New York, Inc.® (LawNY®) is a non-profit law firm that provides free, civil legal aid to low income residents of 14 counties in Western New York. LawNY offices may be able to assist with problems relating to housing/homelessness, public benefits, barriers to employment, SSD/SSI, veterans, health insurance, and sexual assault or domestic violence.
The LawNY - Ithaca office helps income-eligible residents of Tompkins and Tioga Counties.
LawNY - Ithaca receives funding from the New York State Office for the Aging through the Tompkins County Office for Aging and Tioga Opportunities Department of Aging. Please call your Aging Services Office for referral information.
